Unlike some treatments that can cause skin discoloration, SkinTyte is safe to use on patients of any skin tone.

How Many SkinTyte Treatments Are Needed?

Most patients require between two and five SkinTyte sessions for optimal results. However, the number of treatments required will vary depending upon a variety of factors.

What Is the Procedure Like?

During your SkinTyte session, light energy is delivered in quick pulses via a handheld tool operated by your doctor. Multiple pulses are sent to the targeted area over the course of the procedure.

While the length of your treatment will vary depending on factors such as the size of the targeted area, treatments of the face and neck typically take approximately half an hour.

Due to the cooling technology involved in the procedure, no topical anesthetic is required. However, your doctor may choose to apply an anesthetic when the procedure is performed in more sensitive areas.

What Is the Recovery Process Like?

SkinTyte is a non-invasive, zero downtime procedure. Regular activities can be resumed immediately following treatment. This includes applying makeup, sunscreen, or any other skincare product to the treated area.

While some patients can experience mild redness, it typically fades within a few minutes.
